Summary

BMI Calculator does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device. The app has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.

What the app stores

When you calculate your BMI, the app saves the result on your device so you can see your history. Each saved entry contains:

• The BMI value and its category
• The height and weight you entered
• The gender option you selected, and your age if you chose to enter one
• The date and time of the calculation

The app also stores your theme choice and your preferred unit system.

This information is written to the app's private storage area on your device using Android's standard preferences mechanism. It is not readable by other apps. It is never uploaded anywhere, because the app has no ability to make network requests.

What the app does not do

• It does not request the internet permission, so it cannot send data off your device
• It does not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs
• It does not require an account, sign-in, or email address
• It does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, files, or health sensors
• It does not use cookies or tracking technologies of any kind

Backups

Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for this app. Your calculation history will not be copied to Google Drive or moved to a new phone.

Deleting your data

You are in full control of the data stored on your device. You can:

• Delete an individual calculation from the history list
• Use Clear all to remove your entire history at once
• Uninstall the app, which removes all of its stored data permanently

Because nothing is stored on a server, there is no data for us to delete on your behalf.

Children

This app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Health disclaimer

BMI is a general screening measure, not a medical diagnosis. It does not account for muscle mass, body composition, pregnancy, age, or ethnicity. This app does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider about your individual health.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change in a future version, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
